Wing Commander: Secret Ops Released

This one is moving from rumor and preview talk into something players can actually get their hands on.

Origin and Gamecenter have teamed up to deliver the Secret Ops starter kit, featuring the main game executable and the new game’s first episode. Wing Commander: Secret Ops is a space-combat action game that continues the story from Wing Commander: Prophecy, which was has released late last year.

Propelled by a new game engine, Secret Ops includes enhanced weapons and larger, more intense battles.

Now the only real question is whether it earns shelf space, because PC gamers are getting buried in boxes this year.
