Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition brings translucent OG Green back for the 25th anniversary
Microsoft revealed the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition: a translucent OG Green Series X with Duke controller callbacks, releasing November 2026.
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition and Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition, a hardware collection marking 25 years of Xbox. Both ship in translucent OG Green, the colour scheme that defined the original console from 2001.

The Series X25 keeps the full Xbox Series X spec (1TB of storage, same performance) but wraps it in a see-through shell that lights up green at the iconic X on power-on. The X25 controller goes further on the nostalgia. The ABXY colours match the original layout, the bumpers are designed as a callback to the black and white buttons on the Duke, and the back case and battery door are fully transparent so the classic Xbox logo is visible inside.
The collection releases in November in select markets. The controller will also be available separately. Pricing and preorder details are still to come. If you wanted a Series X and have any attachment to where Xbox started, this is the one to wait for.
