Doctor Who: Worlds in Time was a free browser-based MMO developed by Three Rings Design and published by BBC Worldwide, launched in 2011. Players created a companion, earned a sonic screwdriver and travelled with a cartoon Matt Smith-era Doctor, solving timed puzzles to collect shards. The service closed in 2014.
