A hovertank shooter that forgets it's a tank, but the sheer chaos almost makes up for it.
Thunder Brigade is all arcade, no armor. Frantic hover tank combat with regenerating shields and no turrets, it's a mindless shooter with enough enemy spam to keep you busy.
About This Game

Thunder Brigade is a futuristic action game developed by Blue Moon Interactive and published by Interactive Magic in 1999. Players command a hover tank in arcade-style combat missions across varied terrain, from river valleys to asteroid craters. The game eschews realistic tank simulation in favor of fast-paced, frictionless movement and a damage system where armor regenerates and vehicles can absorb dozens of hits. Four chassis variants offer different balances of speed, armor, and firepower, each equipped with weapons such as rail guns, missiles, and plasma cannons. The campaign pits players against overwhelming numbers of enemy craft, encouraging aggressive maneuvering and the use of terrain for cover. Despite its name, Thunder Brigade bears little resemblance to traditional armored warfare; it plays more like a first-person shooter on hovercraft, with an emphasis on frantic shooting gallery action.
