Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos is a 3D platformer developed by Argonaut Games and the sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Croc sets out for the mainland in search of his long-lost parents, and his journey turns into a confrontation when his arch-nemesis, Baron Dante, is resurrected by the Dantinis. The game spans four distinct villages where Croc rescues captured Gobbos and faces a roster of Guardians, including Soveena the Squid. Its moveset expands on the first game: alongside jumping and tail-spinning, Croc can triple jump, and he takes control of minecarts, cars, speedboats, a hang glider, and a wooden airplane across more than 40 levels of open-ended platforming.
In July 2026, Argonaut Games announced a remaster of the game. The remaster restores the full title Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos, the name used during the original's development, and follows Argonaut's earlier remaster of the first Croc. It is targeted for a Q4 2026 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PC via Steam and GOG, with enhanced visuals, quality-of-life improvements, and an in-game digital museum called the Croc2pedia that collects cut content, development materials, and interviews with the original and remaster teams.
