Arcade1Up is officially back under Basic Fun!, and the first Fall 2026 lineup is going straight for retro fans.
Leading the charge are new Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man cabinets, along with the first ever dedicated Sonic the Hedgehog home arcade machine. The Sonic cabinet, shown off at Toy Fair in New York, features bold blue and yellow side art, a light up marquee, and a classic control layout running Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, and more.
For classic arcade fans, Pac Man remains the foundation of the golden age. For 90s console kids, seeing Sonic in a true arcade style cabinet just feels right. It blends Genesis era nostalgia with that upright arcade presence.
Basic Fun! says this is just the beginning, with more Sonic titles planned under a multi year partnership with Sega.
If you care about physical gaming hardware, dedicated cabinets, and keeping retro franchises alive in tangible form, this is a good sign. No subscriptions. No storefront shutdown worries. Just flip the switch and play.
