Hi-Rez Studios has brought its free-to-play online shooter Tribes: Ascend to Steam. The fast, jetpack-and-skiing multiplayer shooter already boasts over a million registered players (this writer among them), and the Steam release, bundled with new features, aims to grow that further. A genuinely distinctive shooter getting a bigger storefront is good news.
