Descent: FreeSpace – Silent Threat Announced

Interplay Productions has announced now that an expansion disk for their top-selling space combat sim title, Descent: FreeSpace -The Great War, is currently in development with an anticipated is shipping date of September 1998. Developed by original FreeSpace creator Volition, an affiliate of Parallax Software, Descent: FreeSpace – Silent Threat is expected to be available in September for Windowsr 95-based computers with full installation of the original FreeSpace game.

For the new title Volition and Interplay are creating an all-new campaign, featuring four new is shipping and weapons to challenge players.
