Halo Studios confirmed Halo: Campaign Evolved for July 28, 2026, with early access beginning July 23 for Premium and Collector’s Edition buyers. It lands on Xbox Series X|S, PC via Xbox and Steam, and PlayStation 5. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass include it on day one.

This is a full rebuild of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign: all ten missions remade with new visuals, updated cinematics, remastered audio, and nine additional weapons pulled from across the franchise. Vehicle hijacking and a drivable Wraith tank are new to this release. Every edition includes Operation: METEORITE, a three-mission story arc set a year before Combat Evolved, following Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson on a Covenant vessel raid. The story was written with Halo novelist Troy Denning.

Three editions at launch: Standard at $49.99, Premium at $69.99 with early access and an armory pack, and Collector’s Edition at $199.99 with a 12-inch Master Chief statue, light-up Cortana chip, Steelbook, and physical disc. All pre-orders include Classic 2001 Mark V armor and weapon skins. Pre-orders are live now across Xbox, Steam, and PlayStation.
