SEGA announced Crazy Taxi: World Tour at the Xbox Games Showcase, a new entry in the dormant arcade driving series coming in 2027. Kenji Kanno, who directed the original 1999 arcade game and the Dreamcast port, is back at the helm. The trailer ran to The Offspring’s ‘All I Want’, so at least one thing hasn’t changed.

The game sends Axel across five cities in a story campaign chasing masked villains who stole his cab. Multiplayer, vehicle customization, and a Classic Arcade Mode are also confirmed. Details are thin beyond that.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour lands on Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. No price or specific release window yet.
