Microsoft Buys FASA Interactive: It seems that FASA Interactive, developers of the MechCommander and the MechWarrior line of games, has been bought by Microsoft.
The important bit: That's right folks at the time of this post (8:30 PM CST) Chips & Bits is allowing you to pre-order Valve's Team Fortress (TF2) for the low, low price of $24.99.
Swords & Sorcery Announced: Westwood Studios announced Swords & Sorcery, a classic RPG complete with statistics, spell casting and character classes.
The important bit: Microsoft announced Close Combat III: The Russian Front has gone gold. Expect to see it in stores in late January 1999.
