Morris who is the Project Leader for Homeland has let me know that the Alpha 100 version of Homeland has been released. It is mostly a bug-fix version, with some new features implemented.

George Broussard from 3D Realms updated his .plan announcing that Duke Nukem Forever will be using the Unreal engine. Duke Nukem was going to use the Quake II engine, this is a major change for the development of the game.
