Blizzard to show Act III of Diablo II at E3

Blizzard Entertainment's unveiled today some new details about the status of Diablo II, the much-anticipated sequel to 1997's highly acclaimed role-playing game, Diablo.

Blizzard to show Act III of Diablo II at E3 is now part of the E3 noise machine, and the May show is starting to look ridiculous in the best possible way. Blizzard Entertainment’s unveiled today some new details about the status of Diablo II, the much-anticipated sequel to 1997’s highly acclaimed role-playing game, Diablo. Blizzard has finished developing Diablo II’s five new character classes: the Amazon, the Paladin, the Necromancer, the Sorceress and the Barbarian. Each character can develop 30 unique, class-specific skills and spells throughout the title. In all, Diablo II offers 150 special abilities.

It may not be the same thrill as a fresh demo, but this stuff shapes what actually reaches players. Boring paperwork today can turn into games on shelves tomorrow.
