Deer Hunter II Shipped hit the wire on October 5, 1998. GT Interactive today announced its WizardWorks subsidiary has shipped more than 500,000 units of Deer Hunter II for the PC. Deer Hunter II is the 3D sequel to Deer Hunter which, since its release one year ago, has remained one of the top-ten best-selling PC games in the U.S.

It is another install-or-download item for the pile, which is basically the state of PC gaming right now. Patches, demos, and new releases are flying everywhere.
