Maxis announces first new SimCity components

With just days before SimCity 3000 begins appearing in stores, Maxis has provided information on some of the game’s first downloadable elements which will be made available from their official SimCity web site. There will be four categories of downloadable files from simcity.com: landmark buildings, buildings made with the soon to be released Building Architect Tool, pre-built cities, and new undeveloped terrains.

That is the latest from the January wire. Small item, sure, but the PC gaming world moves through small items like this, one download, one update, and one promise at a time.
