Rise of Rome Official Web Site Announced

The announcement pile gets another one today with Rise of Rome Official Web Site Announced.

Microsoft now has announced that the official website dedicated to the Rise of Rome, the expansion pack to the award-winning, top-selling Age of Empires, is now online here. The site provides an overview of gameplay features with extensive in-game artwork, a multimedia section with screen shots and musical tracks, and a community area with links to all the latest previews and top fan sites.

The site also details the new civilizations, added units, additional technologies, maps, and buildings.

It is not the same as playing the thing, but in 1998 every new shot, chat log, and developer quote is enough to keep the hype machine fed for another day.
