St. Patrick's Day and SimCity 3000 hits the March 1999 news desk on March 15, 1999. Maxis, the creators of the number one selling computer game in the world, Sim City 3000, will on Wednesday, March 17, make available a special set of free Sim City 3000 add-ons to mark St.

Patrick's Day. The add-ons are terrain maps which Sim City players can import into their games to build their cities on. The only real test starts now. Boxes, demos, patches, and downloads do not mean much until players start hammering on them.
