Asheron’s Call

Asheron's Call is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Turbine and published by Microsoft. Set on the continent of Dereth, players choose from three heritage groups and venture into a persistent world filled with monsters, magic, and allegiances. The game features a unique patron-allegiance system that rewards social bonds, and skill-based character progression rather than race-based classes. Released in 1999, it stood alongside Ultima Online and EverQuest as one of the early pioneers of the MMORPG genre.
