A game so full of heart that even its leftovers are worth collecting.
Lunar 2 is a classic RPG that trades complexity for pure charm. A lovable cast, a simple but engaging story, and the best damn outtakes in any game.
About This Game

LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue Complete is a traditional turn-based RPG set in a fantasy world on the brink of destruction. Players control Hiro, a young ruin explorer from the village of Taben's Peak, who accidentally awakens Lucia, a mysterious girl from the moon. As the two journey across the continent, they gather companions with their own personal quests, each bringing unique abilities to battle. The combat system is straightforward: characters and enemies are positioned on a 2D battlefield, with standard commands like Attack, Magic, and Special. An added twist is the Crest system, which allows characters to equip elemental gems to enhance their stats and magic. The game's presentation is fully 2D, with detailed sprite work and anime-style cutscenes. Working Designs' localization is infamously peppered with pop-culture references and fourth-wall-breaking humor, and the voice acting includes a full cast of actors. The Complete edition adds an art gallery, the soundtrack on a separate disc, and hours of voice actor outtakes. Though the game was originally released for the Sega CD in 1994, the PlayStation remake brings it to a wider audience with numerous improvements.
