POCG VERDICT
A wild Dreamcast brawler with pulp adventure style and enough chaos to make every match feel alive.
Power Stone is frantic, colorful and completely full of itself. That is exactly why it works.
About This Game

Power Stone is a 3D arena fighting game developed and published by Capcom. Released in arcades in 1999 and brought to the Sega Dreamcast the same year, it steps away from the strict side-view structure of traditional fighting games and drops players into full 3D stages filled with weapons, items, breakable scenery and hazards. The match revolves around collecting three Power Stones, which temporarily transforms the character into a more powerful form with special attacks. Its cast pulls from pulp adventure, global folklore, historical archetypes and late 19th century adventure fiction, giving the game a style that feels closer to a Saturday morning treasure hunt than a tournament fighter. Power Stone became one of the Dreamcast's early signature titles thanks to its fast pace, colorful characters and party-fight energy.
