It’s up against Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, The Walking Dead and XCOM: Enemy Unknown for the top prize, with The Walking Dead close behind on eight nominations and Far Cry 3 also racking up multiples. A wordless downloadable game topping the list says a lot about where the medium’s heart was that year.
