Eidos Founder Stephen Streater Resigns

As reported by Reuters. Eidos Chief Executive Charles Cornwall thanked Streater for his contribution to the company.

Eidos Founder Stephen Streater Resigns is the latest business move hitting the game wire. As reported by Reuters, British software group Eidos Plc, best known for its Tomb Raider series featuring buxom virtual explorer Lara Croft, said on Thursday its founder Stephen Streater had resigned as a director to set up a new venture.

Eidos Chief Executive Charles Cornwall thanked Streater for his contribution to the company. Streater and others set up Eidos in 1990 when he was 24 as a video compression company, although it quickly transformed into a computer games company and Streater has not been involved in the management of the games side.
