Electronic Arts, announced it has shipped worldwide more than a million copies of the computer game SimCity 3000.

1 Million Copies of SimCity 3000 is now moving into players’ hands. Electronic Arts, announced it has shipped worldwide more than a million copies of the computer game SimCity 3000.

The popular city building simulation, created by the company’s Maxis studio, skyrocketed to the top of the charts when it began shipping to stores during the last week of January. SimCity 3000 was the top selling PC game in the US in February and March and second best-selling title in April according to Reston-based PC Data. The game reached the top sales position in many European and Asian markets and continues to be a top seller worldwide.
