Anbernic has published the first official gameplay footage of the RG SP, its foldable handheld inspired by the Game Boy Advance SP. The video shows the device playing games from several retro platforms.

Anbernic says the RG SP has a 3.4-inch 720×480 IPS display and 1GB of RAM, with pixel-perfect 3x scaling for Game Boy Advance games. It also claims support for PortMaster and more than 30 retro platforms, including PSP, PS1, Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color.

During the gameplay video we saw it handle a wide variety of titkes from different platforms. Including The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA), Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade (GBA), Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA), Pokémon Emerald Version (GBA), Nekketsu! Beach Volley da yo Kunio-Kun (GB), Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (GB), Pokémon Pinball (GBC), The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX (GBC), Stardew Valley (PORTS), Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai – Another Road (PSP), King of Pro Baseball (N64), Soulcalibur (DC), Guardian Heroes (Saturn), Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar (NDS), Asian Dynamite (Naomi), Crash Bash (PS1), Cuphead (Steam PC), Knights of Valour Super Heroes (Multiplayer Netplay), and Oriental Legend (TV, Controller).
