The 8X24 SCSI-2 device establishes a new level of performance and reliability as the fastest CD-Recorder on the market, ready for a new era of data-rich opportunities and applications. TEAC’s latest 8X24 CD-R records at 1,200KBps (8X), giving the professional user the fastest performance for the most demanding applications. In addition, the drive transfers audio from one disc to another at an audio extraction rate of 12X. The 8X24 mirrors today’s high performance CD-ROM drives by delivering 150ms average access time and reading data at 3.6MBps (24X).
