Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the sequel to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and the second installment in the Sands of Time trilogy. The game follows the Prince, now hunted by the Dahaka, a guardian of the timeline, after he unleashed the Sands of Time. To escape his fate, he travels to the Island of Time to prevent the Sands from ever being created. Warrior Within introduced a darker, more mature tone compared to its predecessor, with a greater emphasis on combat, a time-travel mechanic that allows revisiting locations in different eras, and an expanded acrobatic moveset including dual-wielding and wall-run attacks. The game was released on multiple platforms including PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Microsoft Windows.
