MultiSync E750 Monitor Announced

NEC Technologies has announced the MultiSync E750 monitor, the first-ever short-depth monitor.

MultiSync E750 Monitor Announced is the story on November 3, 1998, and it is one of those late-1998 PC gaming updates that says exactly where the scene is right now. NEC Technologies has announced the MultiSync E750 monitor, the first-ever short-depth monitor. The 17-inch MultiSync E750 monitor sports a sleeker, smaller cabinet design that takes up considerably less space than conventional 17-inch monitors.

Its use of NEC Technologies' exclusive short-depth CromaClear CRT allows the monitor to offer a mask pitch of .25mm while maintaining a sharp focus and bright, color-saturated images from edge to edge. The MultiSync E750 will have an introductory estimated street price of $549. Drivers and hardware updates are not glamorous, but when they fix a game or unlock a card you already paid for, they matter.
